Our Products
a) Descriptions and photography
Products sold by Deco BLINDS are either photographed or digitally produced and are accurately displayed on our website. However, due to different monitor types, settings and styles, shading and colours may appear different from the actual product colour. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you request a free sample before placing an order to ensure you are satisfied with the colour and quality.
Deco BLINDS will make every effort to ensure that the products sold and delivered match the samples or descriptions shown or provided. However, minor variations between samples and finished products cannot be guaranteed and will not be considered a valid reason for rejecting the order. For example:
Fabrics & dyes: Natural and synthetic fabrics may show slight variations in tone and dye saturation. We cannot guarantee that two products ordered separately will come from the same batch of fabric. Natural materials: Real wooden blinds are made from natural timber, so variations in shade and grain will occur from one blind to another. Similarly, natural fabrics such as cotton or linen may contain variations and inconsistencies between batches.
b) Measurements
Many of our products are manufactured to the exact measurements you provide. It is entirely your responsibility to take the correct measurements of your window, door, or track. If you are unsure, please consult our customer service team before placing your order or refer to our online measuring guide.
You must check the product details and sizes before confirming your order, and review the email confirmation we send. If incorrect measurements are provided, returns and refunds cannot be accepted, as these products are made to measure and cannot be resold.
c) Made-to-measure products
Made-to-measure products are manufactured exclusively to your specifications and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned once produced. It is essential that you are certain of the product and measurements before placing an order. We recommend making use of our free sample service.
Deco BLINDS cannot be held responsible if you are not satisfied with the colour or quality of the product. We strongly advise that you double-check your order before confirming.
d) Tolerance
All products are cut by skilled professionals; however, there is a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 5mm (or up to 3cm for soft fabric products such as curtains). Orders within this tolerance cannot be returned or replaced.
e) Fabric
Most fabrics are dyed and therefore may vary slightly in shade between batches. We cannot guarantee shade matching to previous orders. Samples provided may also differ slightly in tone from the final product. Patterned fabrics may not display the full design in a sample piece. If in doubt, please contact our customer service team for further advice.
Order processing and contract a) Order cancellation or amendments
When placing an order you are entering into a legally binding contract. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, made-to-measure products are exempt from the 14-day cancellation rights.
Cancellations can be accepted and refunded in full only if production has not yet begun. Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. For this reason, it is extremely important that you carefully check your order confirmation email.
b) Telephone orders
If placing an order by phone, our customer service team will repeat your order back to you. However, we cannot accept responsibility for errors in measurements or product details. It is your responsibility to carefully check the confirmation email sent after placing the order.
Prices
The price shown at checkout and on your confirmation email is the final price and includes VAT. (Deliveries to certain areas, such as the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands, may be subject to additional courier charges. You will be informed of any such charges and may cancel your order if you do not accept them.)
Payment
Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, PayPal, Clearpay or Apple Pay. All card details are encrypted for your security. Payment is charged at the time of order.
Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the total price paid for the products. We only accept orders placed through secure SSL-enabled browsers.
Acceptance
Deco BLINDS reserves the right to cancel your order if:
Stock is unavailable, Delivery is requested to a location outside our service areas, The product has been discontinued, A pricing or system error has occurred, Circumstances beyond our control prevent supply.
In such cases, you will be informed promptly. No discounts or compensation will be offered.
Delivery
Estimated dispatch times are shown on each product page (e.g. 7 working days). During peak periods (such as holidays or Christmas), delays may occur. The exact dispatch date will be available in your order tracking.
Deliveries are limited to mainland UK. We cannot accept liability for delays outside our control. Please ensure your products are received and checked before arranging installation.
Defective or damaged products
All products are quality-checked before dispatch. If you receive a defective or damaged product, you must notify us within 30 days of receipt. We may request digital photos or a return of the product for inspection. A repair or replacement will be arranged where necessary.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Guarantee
Deco BLINDS products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s guarantee. In addition, we offer a limited 4-year extended guarantee, giving a total of 5 years’ coverage. In some cases, products may need to be returned for inspection.
General
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Personal Data: Deco BLINDS complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal information is collected only to process your order and provide you with our services. We will not send marketing emails without your consent, and we will never share your details with third parties without your permission.
